The Committee to Determine the Validity of the Two Committees(Or the Validity Committee) is a committee founded by Jim Halpert exercising his power as Assistant Regional Manager to settle a dispute between the jurisdiction of the Party Planning Committee and The Committee to Plan Parties. Jim is the sole member.

Meetings[]

The Committee to Determine the Validity of the Two Committees had one session in the show wherein Jim, biased, deemed The Committee to Plan Parties valid. As such, Jim's decision superseded Dwight's attempt to cease The Committee to Plan Parties from organizing its party.

Membership[]

  • Jim Halpert is the only member ever admitted to the committee.

Dwight Schrute submitted a request to join but was promptly denied.

Duration[]

Since the committee was never formally dissolved, we can only assume it still exists. If Jim never admitted any new members, Dunder Mifflin Scranton can never have any new committees.
