Spencer Daniels is the young actor who played Meredith's son Jake in the episode Take Your Daughter to Work Day.
Beginning his acting career at ten, he has numerous television (Cold Case, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Big Love, Crash and NCIS) and film credits - including small roles in blockbusters only a few months apart in 2008-09, appearing in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button as the "younger" self of Brad Pitt's title character, and in J.J. Abrams's reboot of Star Trek as an acquaintance who adolescent James T. Kirk passes while joyriding in his step-father's 1965 Corvette.
