Creed Bratton is a fictional character played by the real Creed Bratton in the television series The Office.

Creed appears in the background but is not a speaking role and is not involved in any story lines.

Creed is set to be fired on Halloween but instead he throws Devon under the bus to be fired.
Offers to show kids that he only has 4 toes on one foot.
In "Christmas Party", Creed has Jim for Secret Santa and gives him an old jacket in a plastic bag. Jim theorizes that Creed forgot to buy him a present and merely pulled the old jacket out of his closet. In a talking head Creed confirms "thats exactly what happened."
Creed reveals that he loves stealing things during Casino Night.

- Creed says that he may have made love to a man during the 1960's.
- Creed thinks it's okay for babies to play with paper clips. (He has extra paper clips.)
- Creed is eager to help Dwight battle the bat, as well as Jim (whom Dwight believed was becoming a vampire)
- Creed used to be homeless and lives in the office four days a week. His place is in Toronto, taking advantage of the welfare state.
- Has faked his own death and, at one point, was living off of his life insurance payout.
- Creed prefers natural, un-augmented breasts, as he tells the camera after news of Jan's surgery gets out. "Swing low, sweet chariots," as he puts it.
- Creed seems to work on his blog frequently, but he doesn't know that it's just a Word document that Ryan set up for him, telling Creed it was a blog. Ryan says he read some of it, that it was disturbing, and that the rest of the world did not need to be exposed to Creed's mind.
- Creed eats mung beans, which even he acknowledges "Smell like death."

- Creed's real name is suggested to be William Charles Schneider (which is the actor's birth name). When Creed has money problems, he transfers his debt to this identity. In Goodbye, Toby, Creed forgets his job title(Quality Assurance), referring to it as "Quabity Ashewitz".

- At the end of Lecture Circuit Part 1, Creed gives Jim an obviously fake $3 bill as a donation to Kelly's party.(The donation may have bore Creed's face also)
- Steals pancakes from Michael's "Pancakes and Paper" luncheon, and then gives them back, saying "Hell, I don't even want these anymore"

- Creed is unable to remember the names of his coworkers.
- First mentioned in "The Secret", when Creed asks Kevin "Which one is Pam?"
- In a deleted scene from "Valentine's Day", he calls Oscar and someone on the phone "Ace".
- In "Conflict Resolution", Creed calls Meredith "the redhead" and Pam "the receptionist" in a complaint.
- In "The Convention", Creed calls Angela "Andrea" and introduces himself to Meredith.
- In "Dunder Mifflin Infinity", Creed refers to Stanley as "Sammy" and Meredith as "the chick you hit with the car" (or confuses Meredith with Phyllis).
- In "Business School", Creed calls Meredith "Mary Beth" when she's trapped in the break room with the bat.
- Creed manages to remember Jim's name, calling him "Jimmy" ("Dwight's Speech", "Survivor Man") or "Halpert" ("The Negotiation"). In "The Negotiation", he also nearly remembered Dwight's name (calling him "sharoot").
- Ironically, in the episode Night Out, Creed is the only one who remembers the name of the security guard.
- In "Lecture Circuit Part 1", Creed seems to have forgotten Andy's name, calling him Jim.

- The actor Creed Bratton was the lead guitarist for the Sixties rock group The Grass Roots. In a deleted scene from "The Booze Cruise," this piece of history was incorporated into his character as well. In "The Office," Creed appears to be portraying a parody of himself, as a Sixties burnout.
- In the same deleted scene, Creed claims that thanks to his extended drug use during his rock and roll days, 90 seconds is the longest amount of time that he can remain focused on any task.
- Creed claims to have spent time in an iron lung as a teenager. ("The Injury")
- Creed claims to had his own radio show in the 1970s, using the name "DJ Wacky Weed Creed." ("The Return")
- Creed has extensive knowledge of potentially addictive pain killers. ("Fun Run")
- Creed seems to have developed a friendly relationship with Oscar ("Christmas Party," "The Carpet").
- Creed is shown to either not know what his job is, or is not very good at it in the episode Quality Assurance.
