a new clue about scranton strangler
Watching the christmas episode of Season 3 Episode 10 I noticed something. I am not sure if this was noticed before.
Around minute 33 where Michael and Andy are singing together to the waitresses in the middle of the office, there is a brief close up to Toby and then it shows what it is there under the table he is standing. In a bag you briefly see ropes.
Athlead
Who else was completely turned off by this story line. First, when showing shots of the office, it makes it look like Athlead is an up and running, fully functional start-up flushed with cash run by 3 weirdly positioned character owners, who for some reason "need or depend on Jim" a mere paper salesman with no other professional experience. Then, n a few episodes prior to introduction of Athlead's Philly offices, Jim is representing that he "started" the company - when clearly he may have had an idea in college as the script goes, but it's obvious the business is off and running before Jim's involvement.
Then this guy Isaac and some of the others bug the shit out of me, not the mention that Isaac has this weird look on his face whenever …
Meet Your New Wiki Representative!
Hi there! I’m Barneymiller123abc, but you can call me Miller! I’m here to announce that I’ll be taking over from KylaraE as the Wiki Representative for The Office Wiki.
I’ll be here to support this community as well as be a liaison to full-time Fandom staff. If you ever have a question or issue relating to the wiki, editing, etc., please contact me on my talk page.
I'm looking forward to working with you and this community!
Hello!
Hello Office fans! I love this show so much, and I would love to talk about it with other amazing fans. I am younger, but I am trying to start up a recap podcast. It is very similar to Office Ladies, but I want to make it different by talking to fans in every episode. This is a long shot, but I think I can get to an interview every few episodes. I love this show so much, and I love finding more things about it. If you could help me out with this, please reply to this, and we can work something out. The podcasts name is The Kevin Malone Podcast, and the first 3 episodes are out as of right now. Have an amazing day, and I hope to be talking with some of you!
YOUNGER FANS WANTED*
Kevin Malone
What do you guys think about Kevin? I love him, but I hate how the writers seemed to make him stupider and stupider throughtout the show!
Thanks!
Hey everybody! I'm not very active on this wiki lately, but as the creator of Dunderpedia, I just want to say thanks to all users who've helped this wiki grow and flourish! At the time of it first airing, The Office was probably my favorite show of all time, and having re-watched several times since, it's hard to argue that anything else tops it. I don't think I consciously even realized it until recently, but it was THE show that made me realize I wanted to be a TV writer. Mind you, I always knew I wanted to do something in the entertainment industry, but the idea of writing was solidified when I watched those first 2 seasons of The Office. And now, years later, I'm working in this insane industry, writing comedy for tv animation, and it …
Favorite episode
What's your favorite episode? Mine top 5 are:
- Threat Level Midnight
- Niagara
- The Deposition
- Dinner Party
- Garden Party
I can't choose just one the are all my favorites :P
Office Shipping
Okay, I get it. Another person telling people what they think about certain couples. But bare with me, because I have my theories and you have yours. And I think we should share them. I know it's super long, I'm sorry. I hope you can read through it though.
- 1 Toby w/ Nellie & Pam
- 2 Erin and Pete OR Erin and Andy OR Erin and Gabe
- 3 Jim and Karen or Pam
- 4 Darryl and Val
- 5 Michael and Jan OR Donna OR Holly
- 6 Stanley and his many Mistresses
- 7 Angela and Dwight OR Andy Or The (State) Senator OR Dwight and Isabell OR Dwight and Esther
- 8 Kelly and Ryan OR Ravi
- 9 Ryan and Erin
I feel bad for Toby. He has had trouble with women for a long time. I think Toby and Pam would've been sort of cute. But of course, Jim and Pam are soul mates. So while I could never curse or dow…
Contreversial Ships
I have a lot of ships that most people disagree with. Let me just list them and then I will get into why they are amazing. Jim and Karen, Erin and Pete, Pam and no one (I don't like her very much) and now for some reason, I can't think of any more. But I now I have them. I mean, Kelly and Ravi. Most people don't really like them because they like Kelly and Ryan which is crazy.
Jim and Karen. Oh my gosh how I love them. People always trash them because they lo-oooo-ve JIm and Pam. But honestly, I don't like them because I believe that Pam held Jim back (although I do get where she is coming from) from Athlead (or AthLEAP) even though it's his dream and she simply projected her insecurities on Jim and everyone around her and personally made h…
Poll
Guys, what is your favorite Michael Scott character? I would say mine is Prison Mike OR Santa Bond. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, so the mention of dementors in the "clink" to suck your soul is AMAZING! But at the same time, I love Christmas Time, and everyone needs a classy Santa in their life. Say goodbye to the chubby, pink-faced, Santa you knew, because a NEW Santa is coming in town! Better not shout and you better not pout! Because that is NOT very classy of you.
Genuine Question
Okay, I have a genuine question. Is anyone else just like, ALWAYS watching the Office? Like all the time? Whenever my friends call me, I'm always watching the Office. Like, I do literally nothing else. What else would anyone possibly do with their day?
Let me know because I'm genuinely confused.
Creed Thoughts Story
Back In 2019, Jenna Fischer (who played Pam) and Angela Kinsey (who played Angela) created a podcast called Office Ladies, where they discuss each episode in details and chronologically, revealing behind-the-scenes facts and host some of their former co-stars as guests. In an episode released November 11, 2020, it was revealed that an artifact of the show — specifically relating to Creed — still remains on the internet for fans to enjoy.
Creed's infamous blog www.creedthoughts.gov.www\creedthoughts is alive at and well! Die-hard "The Office" fans surely remember Creed's blog: "Creed Thoughts", which was actually just a Word document (at first!) set up for him by B.J. Novak's character, Ryan.
Ryan describes the "blog" as "shocking, even for …
Erin and Pete
This is no longer just about Erin and Pete because I have strong thoughts about the ships that are both apart of the fandom, and apart of cannon. First things first. People need to stop trashing the characters that date the main characters (Karen, Isabel, and Andy with Angela), before they get married to their main love interest. I love Karen, she is an awesome character who deserves the credit that we don't give her. It's not her fault that she was dating a guy who was in love with someone who was in love with someone else. She's allowed to dislike Pam because quite honestly, Pam was a bitch when it came to Jim and Karen. It's her fault because she didn't get with Jim when he threw himself at her. Pam hit on him, knowing that he has a gir…
Dwight vs. Jim: A Debate
Dwight was continually proven to be a knowledgeable salesperson, and an overall intelligent human being, however, this was overshadowed in his less glorious moments in the show. During the pilot season, Dwight is shown to have been the hardest worker having claimed several employee of the month awards, and he even received two for outselling himself in February. Dwight also was able to conduct an interesting fire safety drill after his unsuccessful seminar on the same topic. This fire drill led to the “Scratonites” being more fire aware, and in the end, Dwight accomplished his ultimate goal. He even continued to believe what he was right even after the corporate scolded him. Some may say that this makes Dwight stubborn, however, others wou…
I just finished the Office for the first time
Well, I don't really know what to say, except that I can't believe it's all over! And for everyone else, it's been over for years! I have a lot of thoughts, so it would be tough to even attempt to summon them all here, and too many to go over in one post even if I could. But I'll start by going over my hopes and expectations for the time I will be spending here. First of all, I'm hoping that by being here, I will get some much-needed closure from the fandom so I won't feel so empty after completing such an amazing, cringey, hilarious, wholesome show. I'd like to find out what everyone thinks of the characters, (particularly the ones I didn't like to see if I can get a new perspective on them) see if there was anything I missed, like easter…

Toby-The Scranton Strangler
The Scranton Strangler is a strangler who mainly strikes in Scranton. Throughout the show, The Scranton Strangler makes make apperances. Many people believe that Toby Flenderson is the Scranton Strangler. Here are a few resons why:
- Toby makes an announcement during a Christmas party and says that he has to miss the party because he is on jury duty. He then grabs his neck, implying it is for the Scranton Strangler. He gives very limited details on the case. Could this be because he doesn't want to reveal to many clues to his many crimes? Yes. Yes it could be.
- Toby never seems to be around when the Scranton Strangler is striking. His car was missing during the chase of the Strangler, so could it mean that he was being chased.
- Toby leaves for Co…
Obscure Office Theories
Let's combine two of my favorite things: #TheOffice and #theories culled from around the web.
What are your favorite Office theories?
Just finished the office
As of today, I just finished watching the office. I have to say, it really hit hard. :(
When Jan was a good boss to when she was an idiot
Jan is a controversial character. At first, she was amazing at her job and loved what she was doing. She was strict and kind and that is what makes a good boss. But, when the story starts to progress she becomes more and more immature, storming out of Dunder Mifflin, getting fired, spending days online shopping. You name it! She became too addicted to Micheal and is utterly insane now! Do you agree? Comment if you do!
Toby Flenderson. The Scranton Strangler?
Toby Flenderson is one of those characters who is you don't hate but you don't understand. Toby's soft voice makes him stand out. But, when he goes on the trial for the Scranton Strangler case, fans were suspicious. The Scranton Strangler started as a Plot C line in the TV Show but soon became very popular and producers had to keep it going. Those theories pointed to people. Creed Bratton and Toby Flederson. Creed is one of those weird people. He didn't know what a text was and he is writing his blog in a Word Document. Toby is an HR rep and is hated by Micheal. He is quiet, but intelligent. Which one of them is the Scranton Strangler? Or is it not any of them? The ideas of Creed seemed to be more obvious. He committed many crimes and is w…
Why Micheal Scott Gets on my Nerves but also makes me laugh
Micheal Scott is a great character. He is not funny at all and that makes him funny. He is cringe-worthy when it comes to his actions but it makes a good show. Sometimes, Micheal just gets on my nerves. First of all, why does he hate Toby so much? I feel bad for Toby. He's a quiet guy and tries to fit in the workplace. The only part I didn't like Toby was when he stopped Andy and Dwight from singing Country Roads but that's beside the point. Micheal got on my nerves again when he decided to do Yankee Swap instead of Secret Santa. Like who does that? And he told everyone that his check was "only" $3,000. I felt bad for Phyllis. Micheal gave Ryan and I-pod and he should have gotten a gift under $20 like everyone else. Sometimes his dumbness …
Proof that Toby is the Strangler
here ya go, the writers left clues, math proves Toby had a Dark Passenger

Top 10 Supporting Characters
Here is my list of the Top 10 Supporting Characters of the Office. https://youtu.be/cdi71dQCem4
The definition of supporting character is probably up for debate. I excluded characters who are in the series with their own arcs (like Phyllis, Stanley, Creed, etc.).
Who is on your top 10 list?
jim is the best
hello people this is my first blog post and i want to talk out how jim is the the best

Times Actors Almost Broke Character
Something that I've often noticed when watching the show is that there are moments when a character smirks slightly in response to something that another character says. Often times it happens when one of the actors might be improvising. There are some well documented instances where the actors nearly broke character or had a reaction that was entirely unscripted that made the show, but I'd love to see a compilation of some kind that shows more of these subtle moments.
A few that come to mind off the top of my head:
- When Andy quotes I'll Be There For You by Bon Jovi as a promise to David Wallace that he won't go on any more surprise trips, David smirks a bit as if he's holding back laughter in Moving On
- When Michael says "TDB" instead of "TBD,"…
Pam Pam Pm
Recently I’ve gotten really intrigued with how people have come to have a solid hatred for Pam, especially social media.
As I scrolled through the comments, I couldn’t help but feel that I needed to stand up and defend this fictitious person. But, I decided against it, as “who cares” is my general stance towards things people post on facebook.
Recently, Screen Rant posted a video about how terrible Pam Beesly is, which sparked my curiosity again. On top of that a couple weeks ago, I saw Facebook and reddit set ablaze with hatred towards Pam essentially vilifying her to a nonsensical point.
So, I made a video essay to try to wrap this whole thing up in a bow. Check it out, spread it around, silence the Pam haters. Or don’t. I don’t care.
Does P…
Adopting the Wiki
Hi there
The Office Wiki was created by one of the admin, DaHumorist in May 28, 2006 to served as database for the NBC series The Office since it started aired. Since then, the wiki had been visiting by a ton of new editor trying to help support the wiki by editing the article and stuff. Even after the series already ended in 2013, this wiki still active througout the years until now.
However, this wiki practically wasn't much of a good place to someone who need to find an specific info from the series, as the wiki have a lot issues to be dealing with. For example;
- 1.Fake and unnecessary Article
The wiki currently have 1275 pages which covered up all about the office; character, location, jokes, etc. I'm impressed how all the article (especially a…

the most underrated episodes are

Ryans decent into madness
There is a lot of ways to look at the office but one theory I really like is how The Office is about Ryan Howards slow descent into madness.
Best and Worst Episodes of Each Season
Title explains it all:
-Best Episodes:
- Season 1: Diversity Day: Really showed what the show could do and become.
- Season 2: The Injury: A classic Michael episode that is a complete trip to watch.
- Season 3 (Tie): Safety Training and Beach Day: Safety Training is another classic Michael episode. Meanwhile, Beach Day is probably the best Jim/Pam episode outside of their wedding and A.A.R.M.
- Season 4: Dinner Party: The best Michael and Jan episode by far. Really cringefully funny and added to Michael's character.
- Season 5: Broke: Pretty much all of the Michael Scott Paper Company episodes are great, but this one takes the cake. Really tense, really funny.
- Season 6: Niagra: Do I need to explain more?
- Season 7: Goodbye, Michael: Though the episode befor…

Scranton Strangler is Creed?
THIS ARTICLE IS NOT MINE. {ELITE DAILY'S ARTICLE ONLINE}
Was The Office really just a workplace sitcom, or was it secretly a true crime mystery all along? Although the series ended in 2013, diehard fans are still debating what was really going on with some of the show's more enigmatic characters, including the nonsensical Creed Bratton and the mysterious Scranton Strangler. Well now, a new theory is connecting the two characters, and making fans wonder: Was Creed the strangler?
Creed Bratton was one of the Dunder-Mifflin workers in The Office but was usually more on the sidelines to the rest of the main cast. Throughout the nine seasons of the show, Creed mostly just spouted sketchy, hilarious nonsense, and never really let others in on his…
Suggestions?
I am having a "the office" themed birthday event. Any suggestions? The Office Olympics is happening as well as the Dundies.

Adopting the Wiki
Hello, I have made this blog post to announce that I am applying to "adopt" the wiki. For those of you who aren't familiar with wiki adoption, it basically means I will make a request to Fandom staff to give me bureaucrat and admin rights because there are currently active users with these abilities. I know I'm new here, but I can see that this wiki needs a bit more consistent with formatting.
- 1 Changes I Would Like to Make
- 1.1 Articles
- 2 Management
- 3 Questions & Concerns
Firstly, as I stated before, I would like to give the wiki a more consistent feel. It's easy to get confused when character (and multiple other) pages have all sorts of formatting (ex: Karen Filippelli v. Jim Halpert). Another thing that would be on my agenda is to delete the spam …
European Union Law
I feel that everybody, everywhere on the FANDOM network, should see this article.
Basically, the EU (where Fandom is partly based) is passing a new law that requires the site to regulate and censor every edit to ensure best possible quality. Staff is opposed to this, but will be forced to comply if the law gets passed. As this would drastically affect every wiki hosted by FANDOM, I am doing my best to spread the word.
I think Creed is a burglar…
he steals things, never had a minifridge and automaticly turns his head like in a mug shot.
